Perfect Apple Crisp

Although this site is primarily aimed at crumble recipes we wouldn't feel it complete unless we gave the crisp and cobbler recipes a mention. Crisps are simply an adaptation of the standard crumble version. The crisp topping tends to have more sugar and butter in it giving a sweeter and crunchier taste and texture.
The cobbler on the other hand is a different mixture and the topping is dropped on in mounds.

For the crisp recipe we chose apple crisp but many other fruits can be used. For the cobbler recipe we chose apple and blackcurrant although the most popular is probably peach cobbler. Click either of the links below to be taken to the appropriate recipe.
